A probably unique MATHIESON No 9B handled beech plough plane with unusually substantial brass screwstems and brass lined nuts, the fence attached with brass posts, the stems and nuts are extremely fine quality, the plane is also stamped Technical College Sunderland, perhaps a prototype being produced for Mathieson? (see The Plough Plane The Study of a Collection fig 213/4) F
